Since 2010, Dreamlight Studio has been offering fun and exciting recreational, low-pressure dance classes that are perfect for all experience levels. We strive to provide a safe and friendly environment for students of all ages to explore and develop their passion for dance and the performing arts. We believe in creating a learning atmosphere free from competition and comparison, and therefore we offer no competitive classes at our studio. View our 2019/20 Season Schedule.
In 2017, we underwent renovations, expanding to become a two studio room facility. Each dance studio room has proper professional-grade dance flooring and is equipped with fixed ballet barres and full wall-length mirrors. Both rooms are also free from any beams / support structures anywhere on the dancefloor, making them even safer to dance in. We also have a lobby waiting area for parents to stay in if they wish.
At Dreamlight there is something for everyone! In addition to group dance classes, Dreamlight also offers private one-on-one instruction in dance and acting, wedding dance instruction, and birthday party packages.
Dreamlight also offers a special Christian Worship Dance stream. This program allows students to explore and develop their skills in Christian worship dance. It is also perfect for those wishing to learn or merge traditional dance training in the dance style of their choice (jazz, tap, contemporary, etc.) with Christian music and worship. Classes also offered in flagging choreography and prophetic worship. Instruction available for all ages and experience levels. Click here to learn more about this special program!
What Makes Us Different:
At Dreamlight we strongly believe that you should not need to "break-the-bank" in order to enjoy the complete dance experience. Group dance classes are only $45+HST/month. We offer a month-to-month payment and commitment option -- no annual fees or commitment required upfront! We offer discounts to students who take multiple classes.
Students are given an opportunity to perform in a year-end recital every June. There is no additional fee for students to participate in the recitals, and all recital costumes are only $30+HST!
We keep group class sizes small, to ensure that each and every student receives the attention that they deserve. Dance classes will never have more than 12 students (and some age groups will have even fewer per class), thus ensuring that every child receives the best instruction possible and the attention they deserve.
We only use clean, appropriate music, choreography, and costumes in all of our classes and recitals. This is very important to us! We want parents to feel that their children are safe when they they drop them off at dance class.
Our one-on-one lesson options allow for students to progress faster, in a program that has been customized just for them!
No competitive classes of any sort are offered at our studio. This keeps the learning atmosphere fun and relaxed!
Thank you for exploring Dreamlight Studio. We can't wait to welcome you and share the joy of dance with you!
